My Favorite Activities include

I love to take advantage of the different restaurants and performing arts venues found throughout our community. Buffalo offers a wide array of food, arts and culture that any visitor or resident can enjoy.

5 Things I love about Buffalo
  1. Being a historian at heart and by trade, I have a deep appreciation for BuffaloÕs role in the Underground Railroad and the Niagara Movement.
  2. Pizza and Chicken WingsÉneed I say more? (Well, they do keep me in the gym.)
  3. Summer events such as the Juneteenth Festival, Taste of Buffalo, and The Pine Grill Reunion.
  4. Buffalo is a small enough city so I can get to most places in 30 minutes or less.
  5. Last but certainly not least: Win or Lose, THE BUFFALO BILLS!!!

My favorite local hidden treasures you shouldn't miss

As a diehard seafood lover, I would highly recommend the CaptainÕs Cove restaurant, great seafood for a nice price. If youÕre a jazz lover make sure you stop by the Colored Musicians Club, many of the jazz greats have performed there and you can feel their spirits in the room as you enjoy the music.

My perfect day spent in the Buffalo area

On a perfect day, when IÕm not heavily involved in my latest production, IÕll go to the Buffalo Athletic Club for a good workout, take a walk through Delaware Park, then go to the Erie Basin Marina and sit out on the rocks. ItÕs an excellent place to think and clear your head. In the evening, I may stop by at one of the many restaurants on Elmwood Avenue, take in a movie, or see a show at SheaÕs Performing Arts Center or a concert at the Tralf. For me, thereÕs never a dull moment in the city of Buffalo!
