5 Things I love about Buffalo

The people - so friendly and warm; the restaurants - especially on Hertel Avenue; the affordability; Elmwood Avenue; the fact that a hop, skip and a jump away there is a beautiful waterfront to spend a day on!

My favorite local hidden treasure you shouldn't miss

I don't think it's a hidden one, but I love Gabriel's Gate, a warm and welcoming pub on Allen Street in Allentown. It's one of the first places I went to when I moved here, and I go there often. Good bar food, good people, great atmosphere.

My perfect day spent in the Buffalo area

Breakfast at Off The Wall in the Elmwood Village, a walk through the shopping districts on Elmwood and Hertel Avenues, an afternoon spent rollerblading or a tennis match in Delaware Park followed by a BBQ on my porch in North Buffalo - where the neighbors are friendly and always ready to get together!

I'm a Syracuse native, so the snow here is nothing to me! I love my life in Buffalo!
