My Favorite Activities include
It is difficult for me to choose between golfing and motorcycling as a favorite activity. Lately it appears golf is winning. There are so many wonderful courses in Western New York with affordable greens fees.
5 Things I love about Buffalo
- If you are an outdoor person like I am, I love the spring, summer and fall weather.
- I love the easy commute.
- I love the big town feel and small town atmosphere. Everywhere you go you know someone.
- I love the architectural treasures, City Hall, The King Urban Life Center, The Albright Knox Art Gallery to name a few.
- I love the fact that you can walk into a variety of local establishments and have an excellent meal. There is nothing in the world like a fish fry in Buffalo!
My favorite local hidden treasures you shouldn't miss
Watching geese and ducks in Forest Lawn Cemetery is a tranquil and beautiful sight you canÕt miss. Since I grew up on Humboldt Parkway my friends and I would always be out ridding our bikes and one of the places we liked to go was the Cemetery. It is a great place to reflect and watch nature.
My perfect day spent in the Buffalo area
I would say my perfect day would be playing 27 holes of golf at three of my favorite courses - Grover Cleveland, Delaware and South Park - on the same day. Believe me it is possible. And still have time to play the Audubon par 3 in Amherst. After a day on the links it is great to stop at Andersons for a beef on Ôweck and custard ice cream. There is nothing like summer in Western New York.
