Hot wheels at the Buffalo Auto Show

Automotive fans make their annual pilgrimage to see the latest and greatest cars

Buffalo BillsWith over 150 newest automotive models, creative custom cars, and numerous industry displays, it is easy to see why thousands of automotive enthusiasts flock to the Buffalo Auto Show every February.

The 2007 Buffalo Auto Show returns to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in downtown Buffalo from Wednesday, February 7th until Sunday, February 11th.

The Buffalo Auto Show is a fun display of new cars, custom-made vehicles, special events and celebrity guests. Get a sneak preview as domestic and foreign car manufacturers will showcase their newest models before they hit the dealerships. To accompany the industry cars on display, the Buffalo Auto Show will feature a vehicle room dedicated to custom and “tricked out” cars. Custom paint jobs, body kits, interior, and stereo systems will certainly “wow” audiences with imagination and artistic talent. The show will also have a display of vehicles that address special driving needs.

This year’s special guests know a thing or two about speed and excitement.  NASCAR legend Bobby Allison will be making an appearance on Wednesday, February 7th both in the early and late afternoon. Visitors can meet and greet the three-time NASCAR champion and even get an autographed copy of Miracle: Bobby Allison and the Saga of the Alabama Gang by Peter Golenbach. On Thursday, February 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., meet players from the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres. Saturday, February 10th, superhero Spiderman will be making appearances from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 11th from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The event features something special for women at The Miss America Beauty Detail Shop. In this area of the Auto Show, visitors will be able to sample the latest in skin care and make-up products.
