The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens was built during the nineteenth century as one of the largest public greenhouses in the country.  It is presently one of fewer than twelve remaining Victorian conservatories in the country, and one of only two with a tri-dome exterior design.  The botanical gardens are open daily from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.  For more information, call 716-827-1584. ext. 203 or visit www.buffalogardens.com
