Catch tomorrow’s baseball superstars at the Buffalo Bisons’ home opener

Botanical GardensBaseball is America’s favorite pastime, and what better place to celebrate than at Dunn Tire Park in downtown Buffalo, with the Buffalo Bisons on opening day? The Bisons will start their season off swinging on Thursday, April 5th against the Richmond Braves, a minor league team of the Atlanta Braves.

The Buffalo Bisons are the AAA Minor League team of the Cleveland Indians that features players one step away from playing on Major League Baseball teams. Players like Cleveland Indians pitcher C.C. Sabathia and Boston Red Sox outfielder Coco Crisp have recently come through the Bison’s organization leaving behind a highlight reel of excitement for the fans in Buffalo. The Bisons have had much success throughout the years and are six-time Governor’s Cup Champions, most recently in 2004.

Along with the great brand of baseball that the Bisons have to offer, visitors can also view the contest from the in-stadium restaurant, Pettibone’s Grille. Pettibone’s offers a reasonably priced menu that features appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and ribs that any fan of the game would love. What could possibly be better than a day in the Queen City full of food, fun, and a little baseball with the Buffalo Bisons?
