The popular Thursday at the Square summer concert series brings the biggest names in entertainment to downtown Buffalo
Umphrey’s McGee, Violent Femmes, Moe, Joan Osborne, Nickel Creek, Keller Williams, Soul Asylum, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and the Dropkick Murphys lead this year’s lineup.
In the summer months, downtown Buffalo rocks every Thursday night with the annual “Thursday at the Square” concert series. Located in the heart of Buffalo’s business district at Lafayette Square, “The Square” has been delivering top-name music acts to the post-work crowd for 21 years. One of the best aspects of the concert series – it’s free!
For Buffalonians, “Thursday at the Square” is the place to be!
Every Thursday between May 31st and September 20th top national bands from many genres will hit the stage and play in front of crowds of 10,000 people or more. The music begins at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. With the soldier’s and sailor’s monument in the park serving as a centerpiece, the Square is lined with a large concert stage, beer vendors and food booths.
