Secret Gardens Bloom with Summer Blossoms
Garden Walk set to showcase the best of Buffalo’s gardens

Garden Walk Buffalo is a free, self-guided tour of more than 230 picturesque Buffalo public and private gardens.
Whether it’s backyard koi ponds, hidden Zen gardens, Civil War-era architecture or summer blossoms, Garden Walk Buffalo has something to see for all likes.
Garden Walk Buffalo attracts more than 10,000 people every year during the last weekend of July, making it one of the largest garden events in the United States. This year the Walk occurs on July 28-29.
A free event, the self-guided tour of over 230 Buffalo public and private gardens takes place both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The tour features a look at beautiful Buffalo homes and gardens through some of the city’s most picturesque neighborhoods. Walkers receive a map of the three-mile radius cluster of gardens and proceed to be awed by some of the best kept secrets right in their neighbor’s backyards.
The tour visits distinct Buffalo neighborhoods, scattered throughout Buffalo’s West Side - Elmwood Village, Delaware District and Allentown. Among the featured neighborhoods is Symphony Circle, home to the Buffalo Symphony Orchestra and the Cottage District, which features homes dating from the 1850’s through the 1900’s. The Allentown District, a historic preservation district listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features an abundance of gardens, courtyards and patios.
