Celebrate the Arts
Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts stretches along the Elmwood Strip with musicians, dancers and performing artists.
The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts is a celebration of creativity designed to unite and build a better community. The event seeks to give regional artists and organizations the chance to expose their work to the community, in a family-friendly setting while also promoting the unique Elmwood Strip and its many shops, restaurants, cafes and people. The event will take place the weekend of August 25-26. Extending throughout Elmwood Village, the festival runs along the strip from Lafayette to West Ferry. It features various stages scattered throughout the street with musicians, dancers and performing artists. There are merchants and vendors and the event also includes a Kidsfest, a perfect spot for children to explore their creative side with free hands-on art projects. The environmental row is a featured attraction that showcases over 35 community organizations designed to teach consumers how to conserve the environment and the culture row will showcase local theatres, art galleries, small community choruses and other cultural organizations from around the city.
This event is produced and presented by the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, Inc., a cultural not-for-profit organization. For more information, visit: www.elmwoodartfest.org
