Sunday Brunch is a lovely Buffalo tradition and the Delaware Park Casino overlooking Hoyt Lake is the perfect setting for Buffalo Old Home Week’s grand finale.
All good things must come to an end – or must they? Mingle with Expats, Repats and locals at Sunday Brunch in Delaware Park on Sunday, August 27th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and make plans for a return trip to the place you call home – Buffalo.
Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and constructed in 1871, Delaware Park is one of three Olmsted Parks in Buffalo. This park, the centerpiece of the Buffalo Park System, encompasses 350 acres of landscape architecture.
Brunch will be catered by Exquisite Catering and tickets are available online and at Talking Leaves Books, 3158 Main Street or 951 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo.
Take a little reminder of Buffalo back with you, from the Images of Buffalo Fair & Exhibit running concurrently with the Sunday Brunch at the Delaware Park Casino. Enjoy the beautiful images of Buffalo created by local artists and businesses.
For a tour of the Rose Garden neighborhood, meet at the entrance to the Delaware Park Casino and take a tour of the neighborhood before or after brunch. Tour Lincoln Parkway, one of Buffalo's premier addresses, and learn about the history of the magnificent Albright-Knox Art Gallery. These 45-minute tours depart at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. for a $5 donation to The Landmark Society of the Niagara Frontier and The Preservation Coalition of Erie County.
