Get in the spirit of Halloween with Mason Winfield’s ghost walks, talks and pub crawls that allow for the chance to explore historic sites around Western New York while learning about another side of the seemingly ordinary. Buffalo contains enough spectacular sites and stories to spook anyone.
Saturday, September 29th is the second Haunted Pub Crawl of Buffalo’s Theater District. Starting off at the Town Ballroom and proceeding along a trail of haunted pubs, theaters, and inns of the downtown district, this ghost walk features drink specials, appetizers, and an alternate look at some of the most interesting places around the city.
October 9th is the Night of All Souls: A Celtic Halloween lecture. This lecture celebrates the oldest still-celebrated holiday in the world with stories on Celtic myth, history and tradition with an added supernatural Celtic music mix. The lecture takes place at Philistine Hall in East Aurora, across from the Roycroft Inn.
Haunted Allentown, one of the most talked about events in the series will take place on October 20th. The entire Victorian-era historic district will come alive for special events taking place from noon to 7pm. Events include a self-guided tour of 13 prominent Allentown haunts, psychic readings, mini-psychic fair and 40-minute lectures on a variety of paranormal topics at the Hamlin House with local astrologers, authors, psychic investigators and lecturers.
