It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a half-boy, half-bat!
Batboy: The Musical commences Studio Arena’s exciting 2007-2008 season line up.
 Studio Arena Theatre presents a MusicalFare production of Bat Boy: The Musical from October 23rd through the 11th of November. This off-Broadway musical was declared “an instant classic” by The New York Post. The MusicalFare production is taken straight from the front page story headlined “Bat Boy Found in Cave” found in the tabloid “The Globe.” This darkly funny and curiously touching tale is called “one of the most imaginative musicals in years.” The story follows a half-bat, half-boy yearning to be accepted in a small, narrow-minded West Virginia town, where he is persecuted for being different. The music covers many styles from rock to rap to opera.
Studio Arena Theatre is one of the oldest resident theatres in the nation, now in its fourth decade. It builds all sets, props and costumes locally and attracts more than 100,000 patrons per season.
