Bandits to set the HSBC Arena on fire
 It has been no secret to sports fans across North America that the Buffalo Sabres are the hottest team in the National Hockey League. At Buffalo’s HSBC Arena, the Sabres are filling up the net with goals, and pack the building with excited fans. In fact, it appears that all 41 home games for the Buffalo Sabres season will be sold-out.
On Friday, January 12, the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League hope to continue that same pattern of success when they kick off their 2007 home schedule against the New York Titans.
Having a few championships under their belt from the 1990s, this edition of the Buffalo Bandits is looking to win it all in 2007. Last season the Bandits fell short in the championship game, losing 16-9 to the Colorado Mammoth. The Bandits regular season runs from the last week of December to mid-April.
